聯合國教科文組織「教育的未來國際委員會」於2021 年提出《一起重新想像我們的未來：新的教育社會契約》報告，指出人類在與地球環境的關係、科技文明的關係以及人類彼此之間的關係等層面，皆遭遇了重大的挑戰，而往「不可持續」的方向不斷傾斜。為了阻止這樣危險的發展趨勢，報告呼籲全球重新思考教育的目的，為人類所有成員提供必需的知識和創新，來塑造奠基於社會正義、經濟正義和環境正義且邁向永續發展的和平未來。本文將說明此份報告對於人類生存危機的分析，以及對新的教育社會契約的設想。最後並以報告的建言為基礎，反思臺灣當前教育的發展。

 

 

The International Commission on the Futures of Education released a report, Reimagining our Future Together: A New Social Contract for Education, in 2021, arguing that mankind’s relationship with the Earth, with technology and with each other faces an existential challenge and is heading for an unsustainable path. This Report calls for redefining the purposes of education to provide the knowledge and innovation needed to shape sustainable and peaceful futures for all anchored in social, economic, and environmental justice. This essay aims to introduce the Report’s analysis of the crises we are facing and offers a reflection on the development of education in Taiwan.
